Putting Our Thinking Caps On

There are so very many things that we would invent if our brains did not (collectively and individually) have less computing ability than a TRS-80 (although, it was pretty clever of us to insert the name of an old computer, something that we must have seen while watching the Animal Planet channel while everyone was out of the house). So, this notable lack of creativity would seem to eliminate us from accomplishing or creating anything of use, right?
Our brains aren't as powerful as this,
but they're much cuter

Wrong!

We are "idea girls" and we have many ideas on how to make the world a better place. And, by "world" we mean "our house" and by "a better place", we mean "treat us even more like pampered royalty".

Our first idea is from Izzi. She thinks that it would be a great addition to a house to have some form of belly rub machine. It does not have to be a complicated Rube Goldberg-like creation (although that might be fun to watch), just something that is either on demand ready to rub our bellies, or one that is motion activated so that when we approach in need of a good belly (or, at times, other parts of our anatomy) rub, it would spring into action.

Speaking of bellies, one of Rozi's ideas is to have a way to cool off surfaces like floors so that it helps to cool off your belly. And, Rozi knows all about such things, since she is constantly looking for a place and a way to cool hers off. She's come up with a process by which she plops herself down on a smooth surface, like our wood floors, and puts herself flat to the floor (or, at least as flat as can be managed by a puppy of her size). Then, she remains still while the floor (or whatever) cools off her belly. And, she thinks that to have a special surface that would pull the heat from her body would be even better: maybe something with a refrigerant or maybe something with a low R-value (which means either that it's pretty cool, or that it's a word that pronounced by our neighbors improperly, like Havahd Yahd and cah) that would make the heat transfer (belly to floor) work well. If this could ever be invented, the next step would be to get it to hold onto the heat from Rozi's belly (now, there's an R-value to think about) and return it to her/us when the weather turns and is colder outside. Now, it would be a way to warm ourselves up.
Yeah, like this.....aaaaaaah!

The next idea is one that we've come up with together. We think it would be fun to have a way to get from our bedroom to outside in case there are critters coming into our back yard, like birdies, who have some way of disappearing before we get there, or squirrels, who sometimes run up tress just to taunt us. That way, we could be there before the critter disappears.
We are thinking about some kind of pneumatic tube, which - yes, we know - has been invented, but we're talking about one that we can get into and then we'd whoosh outside and then when we're done with our hunting (or, in Rozi's case, running around without any particular direction in mind, but doing it so aggressively that a passer-by might think that she's accomplishing something) suck us back up to our nice warm bed without disturbing anyone who's sleeping. That's not too much to ask, is it?

Our final thought for a good idea for us to have would be a machine that has - say - a chicken on it that is cooking all day, and that has little slices (or, for Rozi, big slices) pulled off of it during the day so that when we are hungry, there is always a yummy treat waiting for us in our dishes. We know that there are machines that have lots of chickens on them (something that we, again, have seen on Animal Planet, although we're not sure why they would have a show about chickens...no one could think they are cuter than puppies, could they?) but this one would also pull pieces of our snack off of them. Just like our mama does when it's dinner time.

And, so that's our ideas. If anyone who is reading this can help us with any of these ideas, let us know so that we can stop being so creative and get back to what we do best: taking naps and eating.
