Rozi discovers an amazing invention!

Well, it was about time that our mama took us to get ourselves prettied up! We've been wandering around the house looking like a couple of cuddly stuffed animals that were tossed into the dryer for too long, and we were longing to have a bath and get our haircut and just - well - relaaaaaaaaaaaax. So, today was the day and Izzi had a sense that something was up when the "carriers" came out and Rozi had a sense that something was up when there was no breakfast.

Soon, we were whisked away to Robin's Nest, where we were happy to see so many friends. Even though we get a little nervous to be around so many other puppies, we like it and we like how nice we look afterwards. But, we've talked about that before and since we don't want to repeat ourselves, we wanted to talk more about the trip home.

See, we were picked up not long after we were ready (but, to be honest, there were many minutes between the time that we were "ready" and the time we were picked up and if not for our being distracted by all the other puppies in the place, we'd be more irritated then we were...you just can't find good help!). And, we were put into our carriers and taken out to our ride, and once we were inside, the carriers were opened up and we jumped around from seat to seat, since we'd been cooped up for 10 or 15 seconds.

We looked out the window of the car before we got moving, to get a better sense of where we were, and once we were comfortable, we got settled in. Rozi was happy to be in the car, and wandered over to the open seat, while Izzi got comfortable as close to the wheel as she could.
Even though Izzi knows that she doesn't have the hands to put at "10 and 2", she likes to be in a position of control. Off we went and we both enjoyed the comfort of a nice car ride.

But, there was even more. Rozi decided to rest a bit more and plopped her little body down on the seat and discovered something miraculous: the seat was warm! Just like her little bed at home, but maybe not as soft.

Still, it was great to be able to spend the whole drive having her belly nice and warm. Izzi was looking out of the front of the car, making sure that there were no other puppies ahead of us.

Soon, we were home and we finally (!) got our snacks and it was time for our naps.

So, a full day, and we now think we look like the little princesses that we imagine ourselves to be.
